SmarteSoft’s SmarteScript™ automated testing software is easy to use while offering powerful automated test functionality. SmarteScript is used in many industries by Quality Assurance Teams, IT departments, R&D teams and business analysts to ensure software application quality, meet release schedules and reduce cost of test. You can rely on SmarteSoft’s scalable test solutions to reduce risk and boost business profits.
SmarteScript intuitively learns software application windows and objects and creates “test skeletons” for each business process. From there, test cases can be developed quickly and easily. Complex, variable data-driven scripts can be automatically generated in minutes.
With SmarteScript, your QA team can keep pace with Agile or other rapid prototype software development models. No scripting skills are needed.
Test script modification is quick and reliable making it possible to realistically define test timelines and deliver a thoroughly tested application to market.
Some of the new features we’ve added to SmarteScript to make automated test even more efficient and effective include:
Improved Bitmap Comparison Function: Testing applications which include bitmapped graphics can pose a challenge. In addition to SmarteScript’s existing bitmap comparison (which compares images pixel-by-pixel), SmarteScript Version 5.7 includes a second stage “normalized” comparison to handle complex, dynamic graphics which might include animated or special effects like glows. This second stage can be enabled or disabled to meet your needs.
Automatic Test Result Notification Email Options: There are now four options for the “automatically send email” setting to provide up-to-date reports on test status. Choose the notification status that gives you the information you need:
- Always: An email report is sent when each script run is finished
- On Pass: An email report is sent only when the script run was 100% successful
- On Fail: An email report is sent only when script run was unsuccessful (one failure)
- Never: Report is never sent
Capture Window Screenshot on Object Recognition Failure: This feature captures a screenshot of the main window of the object if this object is not recognized. The screen capture provides documentation of object recognition failure to aid in script modification.
You’ll find these new features useful, enhancing your ability to test efficiently and effectively. Download a free trial of SmarteScript now!
